Sometimes, one has to pay the price for his/her act of total abandonment.
And like all punishments , there is never a good time for it.
Retribution strikes with a vengeance for my irresponsible behavior.
It wreaks havoc on my already unsettled and uncertain life and toys with my mixed and confused feelings.
Unlike the past, there's no escape for me.
I face the future that appears to hold so much hope and yet so little choices.
The burden seems to weigh heavier than ever and it irks me to no end that I face the consequences alone.
